the name means absolutely nothing
My birthday is in approximately one month and a week. Approximately one year, one month, and seven days ago I received a laptop for my birthday. I am already lusting after other laptops, ones that are faster, prettier, shinier, and that can handle Lizzy and all of her RAM consuming applications.
A few days ago my dad brought home an Apple iBook. Everytime I look into the office and see that gleaming logo I get jealous. The graphics are absolutely stunning on the Apple. Every color is more precise, the photographs look museum quality, and of course the laptop itself is a work of art. I used to hate Apples, but now I see their amazing craftsmanship, how much better the definition of each hue is, how crisp everything looks and works. I cannot ask for a fourteen-hundred dollar laptop for my birthday, but that’s the only kind I want. I don’t want my father to think I don’t appreciate my laptop and the money he spent on it, because I do, but it’s weathered and not nearly the quality of his toys. But he’s earned his gifts.
I’m also in camera lust. I want an SLR so badly! I want the light body accompanied by a heavy lens, I love manually focusing in on a subject, I want more options, I want to have huge files to load onto my computer, I want an SLR! I just received my first camera a little less than six months ago, and that was so exciting, but now I realize the faults my camera has, and I want something else.
I’m just being selfish, and I need to go watch Oprah or Anderson Cooper to see how well off I am.
I'm Lizzy. Or Liz. I'm a seventeen year old from Nashville. I write words here. I like it when people comment on the words I write. Want to know more about me? Carry on my wayward son. (see what I did there? HA.)
