the name means absolutely nothing
I learned a valuable piece of information today: backup EVERYTHING. Seriously. Backup your bookmarks, backup your music, backup your stolen software *cough*, backup every picture, every word document, every file you never thought you might need again.
Why? Because computers are not rational beings. Because after last night’s usage that lasted into the morning hours, I shut down my computer as I usually do. This afternoon after waking up and showering I opened up my laptop and turned the thing on.
A screen appeared and told me that something had gone wrong and that you can try rebooting in this way this way this way or this way. Tried each. No go. Tried every which way I could to get this baby started. No go. Finally after taking a break and coming back, with a little less hatred of all electronic devices in my heart, I was able to get the system recovery to start.
Everything is gone. I miss every application, every MP3, every photo I hadn’t yet edited or resized. Every bookmark (there were lots) I had for firefox. Everything.
God I am so technology dependent.
I'm Lizzy. Or Liz. I'm a seventeen year old from Nashville. I write words here. I like it when people comment on the words I write. Want to know more about me? Carry on my wayward son. (see what I did there? HA.)
